from smack dab in the middle of the central valley in california, slowking’s sound is infused by golden foothills, giant sequoias, ancient redwoods, blue coastlines, and the lonely latent feeling of potential just waiting to burst forth into fruition.

raw honesty is the intention behind the music, and to create a soundtrack for the overlooked few who seek solace from the pain of heartbreak in nature and on the open road.

the ones who find themselves here know the pain of heartbreak, addiction, growing pains, and reconciling with the often destabilizing and disorienting reality of change. it is scary to have to face your true self in the mirror, once coping no longer can suppress the truth. this is about letting your true self and emotions cascade forth and bloom. that feeling of liberation and yearning is captured in slowking’s sound.
